摘要
Reburning of nitrogen oxide in combustion waves formed under filtration of methane/air mixtures in a packed bed of randomly arranged inert alumina pellets is studied experimentally and numerically. Due to effective heat regeneration, the studied range of equivalence ratios spans from 0.15 to 3 covering the Ultra-lean, lean, rich, and ultrarich regions. The data suggest strong influence of equivalence ratio on NO, emissions for pure methane/air waves due to the essential variation of the combustion chemistry. Nitrogen oxide reburning studies were performed with input concentrations of NO from 10 to 1000 ppm. Destruction and removal efficiencies above 60% were observed in ultrarich combustion waves, (c) 2006 The Combustion Institute. Published by Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
