摘要
Present study intends to measure the gender differences in adolescent wellbeing and adaption to college. The hypothesis formulated here shows that there is a gender difference in both the scales of measurement. To test the hypothesis a sample of 50 students was taken from different intermediate colleges from Hyderabad. The total sample comprises of 30 boys and 20 girls selected through purposive sampling method. Each participant was provided with both the scales of measurement one after another. Based upon these responses participants' wellbeing and adaptation skills were measured. 't' tests were applied to know the gender difference in these two scales of measurement. Obtained results of this study show that there is no significant difference between two groups of samples taken. It shows that there is no influence of gender on adolescent wellbeing and students' adaptation to college. The results were explained and implications were pointed out.
