摘要
Limit experiences have provided for Louise Gluck an ontological basis on which to build up her philosophy of madness and difference. For Gliick, the limit space is important, where may occur her poetic imagination of eliminating the split between reason and madness. This space is not only the presentation of the coexistence of reason and madness but also the locus where it is possible to flee the Same and to register Difference. Through observing human faces in the Other's mirror and becoming the Other via the negative path in the dark and the earth, Gluck is in the pursuit of a chaotic existence of reason and madness and of the Same and Difference, writing her reflection on human life into a contemporary Foucaultian aesthetics of existence.
