VALIDATION OF TLC - DENSITOMETRIC METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF GALANTHAMINE HYDROBROMIDE IN PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE PREPARATIONS

摘要
TLC - Densitometric method for determination of Galanthamine hydrobromide in pharmaceutical dosage preparations is validated in respect of analytical parameters: selectivity, accuracy, precision and linearity. Accuracy is represented by the values of the degree of recovery (R) over bar [%] +/- RSD (relative standard deviation): 102.47 +/- 1.94 (C-G5); 98.47 +/- 0.7 (C-G10); 100.56 +/- 0.33 (C-G15). Precision is estimated by the uncertainty of the result, determined by SD, RSD and confidence interval (CI, (X) over bar divided by t.S (X) over bar). All data suit relevant CI: 5.09 divided by 5.85 (C-G5); 9.30 divided by 10.06 (C-G10); 15.27 divided by 17.63) (C-G15). An equation: y = 2.10(7).x + 25364 shows the proportional accordance between peak area and concentration, with regression coefficient R-2 = 0.997.
