摘要
The article deals with a production of bioethanol as one of the most perspective present and future biofuel. Feedstock, which is used for bioethanol production is also described in the article. At present bioethanol is made from the feedstock, which contains simply sucrose (sugar cane and sugar beet) or starch (wheat and corn) by using biofuel technology of the first generation. The great potential of bioethanol production provides the production of bioethanol from lignocelluloses biomass, which will be commercially reasonable from 10-15 years. Nowadays the extensive research is focused on this technology. Europe has forgotten for Biofuel support, which is now a big problem. The production is approximately three percent from the whole world production. Despite of the fact, that the European Union makes effort to catch up biofuel support, so there is a question, if its current steps are enough.
