Water Resource Carrying Capacity of Zhuozhang River in Shanxi Province

The sharp contradiction between water supply and demand, the severity of water waste and the outstanding issue of water pollution have affected the carrying capacity of water resources in Zhuozhang river of Shanxi Province. Through statistic analysis, the southern source of Zhuozhang river will be far from meeting the requirements of economic and social development scale in 2015. It must rely on water transfer, water pumping, water conservation and pollution control to improve the carrying capacity. At the same time, a reasonable allocation of water resources is in need, so as to boost sustainable development of the economy and society, and to realize the harmonious development of population, economy, resources and environment.
