摘要
The practical dynamic economic dispatch (DED), with consideration of valve-point effects and ramp rate limit's, considered as a non-linear constrained optimization problem. In this paper, a new strategy optimization based Firefly algorithm is proposed to solve this problem. To illustrate of the efficiency of the proposed algorithm, a comparative study between other algorithms is applied. The obtained results show clearly the potential of the investigation strategy based the proposed algorithm with a qualitative calculated solution and converging characteristics.
