摘要：
FairsNet is a research project offering innovative on-line services to support trade fair activities, as well as the activities of a possibly unlimited number of exhibitors, organized in Web-based virtual fairs, in order to improve the efficiency of establishing business contacts. This paper is envisioning innovative services the FairsNet system should deliver to become an environment suitable for the development of virtual organizations. In particular, combining real and virtual fair, FairsNet seems able to overcome problems usually related to temporary business partnerships (e.g. trust, loyalty, confidentiality).
