摘要
A damage-mechanics coupling analysis based life assessment method on low-alloyed material (30Cr2MoV), which is always being used for manufacturing turbine rotors, was presented in this paper. It has been considered in the method that the material's performance is deteriorated with the damaging process. The method was realized based on finite element technology by a computer code, which was developed with FORTRAN language and applied to a sample. The result was compared with those by conventional life evaluation method. The conclusion is that coupling method is reliable and can reduce the complexity of the conventional local-stress based fatigue life evaluation method. The method also exhibits more accuracy in description of fatigue phenomenon.
