Test of non-commutative QED at LEP

If the space-time coordinates are actually non-commutative, the quantum field theory will have to be modified. Non-commutative QED, an example of such theory, involves violation of Lorenz invariance and predicts deviations from the Standard Model depending on the new energy scale Lambda(NC) and on unique directions in space. A study is made using the high energy e(+)e(-) collision data at LEP.
