摘要：

The genus Mesambria Sal. 1878 is reported for the first time from India and a new species, Mesambria indica Kumar & Chandra n. sp. is described. The new species differs from previously known species in the characters outlined in the key to species. A checklist of Mesambria species known worldwide is also provided.
