摘要：

Land use pattern has an intricate relationship with the nature of land tenure systems in effect in a country. Different socio-, economic-, and cultural factors influence legal and social attempts for change. The authors attempt to explain the inter-connected influence of various factors over land tenure systems implementation aimed towards the development of the Adivasis Region. Effective handling of social, cultural, legal and demographic factors can reduce confrontation and increase necessary co-operative perception among the Adivasis people. Such policies and strategies can enhance sustainable land use in the long run.
