摘要
Wiki is a Web 2.0 technology with potentially new possibilities and functionalities. The most important novelty is that they enable collaborative learning and writing. Wikis possess two essential functions that support collaborative writing. The first one is the discussion page for students' reflections. The second one is the history function that tracks students' actions carried out on the wiki. To evaluate the suitability of wikis for collaboration, a number of quality criteria have been derived from the specific features of wikis. Based on those criteria, the paper aims at evaluating students' experiences with wikis in teacher education. The article also suggests a set of pedagogical implications for the successful use of wikis in teacher education.
