Using a ring-cavity terahertz (THz)-wave parametric oscillator as a THz-wave source, we demonstrated THz-wave absorption spectroscopy in water vapor. The THz-wave was fed into a Fabry-Perot interferometer to obtain a narrower spectral line width than that supplied by the source.
