New design method of RCC high arch dam

摘要
The crack control of arch dam is one of problems that should be seriously solved in the design of arch dam. To remove the unfavorable impact caused by the temperature rise of hydration heat during the construction period is key to the design of high RCC arch dam. For this reason, in combination with the design, study and application experience of Shapai RCC Arch Dam, this paper puts forward a new design method of high RCC arch dam based on the joint-forming technology of gravity-type pre-cast concrete formwork and the temperature reduce technology of pre-buried high-intensity polyethylene cooling water pipe in Roller Compacted Concrete. Such new method is suitable to the characteristics of high RCC arch dam and can well solve the key problem of the design of high RCC arch dam.
