Symmetric groups are determined by their character degrees

摘要
Let G be a finite group. Let X(1)(G) be the first column of the ordinary character table of G. In this paper, we will show that if X(1) (G) = X(1) (S(n)), then G congruent to S(n.) As a consequence, we show that S, is uniquely determined by the structure of the complex group algebra CS(n). (C) 2010 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
