Magnetic properties of Ni-Mn-Fe-Ga ferromagnetic shape memory alloys

摘要
The magnetic measurements on Ni-50(Mn0.5Fe0.5)(25+x)Ga25-x(0 <= x <= 5.0) ferromagnetic shape memory alloys are made in the temperature range between 4.5 K and 500 K. A phase diagram of Ni-50(Mn0.5Fe0.5)(25+x)Ga25-x is determined from the results of the temperature dependence of the initial permeability. The Curie temperature T-C exhibits only mild dependence when the concentration x increases. The martensitic and reverse martensitic transformation temperatures, T-M and T-R, increase with x. The total moment per formula unit mu(m) m remains constant with x.
