摘要：
The Author briefly reports the teaching and research activity done in about 40 years as a food microbiologist at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Milan. A discussion on some topics and proposals for new cultural approaches follow awards. Apart are presented: curriculum, scheme of masters, assistants and students; quotations and aknowledgements. The Author has published 150 articles and some books.
