Optimisation of the electrostatic separation process using the design of experiments methodology

摘要：
The Design of Experiments method was applied to electrostatic separation process of granular mixtures. The results delivered by a role-type electrostatic separator were used for the modeling of the electrostatic separation process. The experimental model determined by experimental design methodology was used to study the separation process of Copper/ PVC mixtures from electric cables wastes. As a result, the effects of high voltage, number of revolutions of the electrode, and configuration of the collector were clarified.
