摘要
The article elaborates on the position of an author in the avant-garde period by providing the example of the Polish poet Tadeusz Peiper. Not only did he use his own periodical to publish poetry, essays and reviews, but he simultaneously formulated a coherent literary program known as the Krakow avant-garde. Peiper's literary development demonstrates a multiplicity of the avant-garde positions from an author, head of the movement and theoretician to a poet who works with programmatic and theoretical proposals.
