Measurement of runaway electrons energy by hard X-ray spectroscopy in a small circular cross-section tokamak

摘要
In this paper, the measurement of runaway electrons energy was investigated. For this purpose, hard X-ray spectroscopy in IR-T1 tokamak was used. Hard X-ray emissions are produced by collision of the runaway electrons with the plasma particles and limiters. The mean energy was calculated from the slope of the energy spectrum of hard X-ray photons. Here in order to measure the energy of the runaway electrons, hard X-ray energy in every 5 ms intervals was obtained from the beginning to the end of plasma. Results indicate that the mean energy of runaway electrons has its maximum value within the 0-5 ms interval.
