摘要
This paper provides a simple and effective approach to calculate the electromagnetic coupling of electromagnetic energy harvesters. The impact on the output power of resonant harvesters is derived. Based on these equations a systematic and simplified optimization strategy is proposed. The computation time can be reduced down to 50%. One first prototype evidences the effectivity of the approach. Additionally, from the equations directly follows the maximum possible efficiency of energy harvesters of 50%. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
