摘要
In this study, we present a passively Q-switched (PQS) operation of Tm:YAlO3 (Tm:YAP) laser with a MoS2-based saturable absorber (SA). In the PQS mode, an average output power of 1.15 W and a peak power of 4.70 W are obtained from the PQS Tm:YAP laser at 1989.5 nm, corresponding to an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 8.0%. In addition, a pulse width of 1.77 mu s is achieved from the PQS Tm:YAP laser at 138.3 kHz.
