摘要
Humanity has been using biological weapons in military conflicts for several centuries. A Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, which banned the production, dissemination, and use of such weapons, was adopted in 1972. Nevertheless, recent events in the United States have shown that terrorist groups have not given up the idea of using them. How the world community is trying to protect itself from the menace of their use is the subject of this article.
