摘要
This study describes an electrochemical behaviour of myristicin and offers a method for its determination using a carbon paste electrode. Myristicin undergoes the oxidation showing one irreversible process at about +1,1 V vs. ref. involving two electrons. The effect of various electrolytes as well as pH dependence is described herein. Within the study, square-wave voltammetry was used as the technique of choice for the myristicin determination, which has been verified by analysis of real sample - a nutmeg. The respective result(s) were compared to those obtained by GC-MS reference determination, showing good agreement.
