摘要
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) force microscopy opens up some very interesting possibilities for the analysis of various types of samples, ranging from solids to biological specimens. In many cases, it should be feasible to run the experiments under conditions close to ambient. Depending on the nature of the sample, both sample on cantilever and magnet on cantilever experiments might yield useful analytical information. Additional impulses for the future development of mechanically detected NMR might come from cantilever-less approaches such as PFM in which cantilever-heating problems can be avoided.
