摘要
The protium absorbing/desorbing characteristics of Mg2Ni0.5Mn0.5 alloy have been investigated. In rapidly-solidified and mechanically-ground specimens of the alloy, protium content at low temperatures increases. Formed MgH2 phase in Mg2Ni0.5Mn0.5, alloy desorbs protium at low temperatures probably due to contractive strain generated at the interface between the MgH2 phase and intermingled Mg2NiH4 as the later desorbs protium.
