Educational experience of students in alternative basic education during the Covid-19 pandemic

摘要
Objective: The purpose of this research was to unveil the learning experiences of secondary school students in the alternative basic education modality during the Covid-19 pandemic. Materials and method: In this sense, the qualitative approach was applied with a phenomenological design; in order to collect and interpret the educational experiences of the students participating in the research. Gathering the information through a semi-structured interview and analyzing the data through the qualitative software Atlas ti 8. Results: It was possible to obtain as a result; that there is a change in the way students learn; which is mediated by the use of cell phones and the use of digital tools such as Zoom and WhatsApp. And that they had to overcome problems of internet connectivity, use of mobile applications, as well as the emotional impact generated by the contagion of Covid-19. Conclusion: Therefore; the students expressed that they not only learned in their experiences to lose their fear of Covid - 19; but also, to learn to overcome the limitations that were presented to them in remote education, to move from teacher-mediated education to mobile learning; to learn to use the cell phone to enter the Zoom platform and WhatsApp. And rather than being a negative experience; it has translated into a meaningful alternative basic education.
