摘要
The research aim was to test a prototype of plastic-house equipped with automation of lateral and top openings, anti-aphids net, thermic screen above the canopy and fertigation system. Soilless vs soil cultivation of table tomato (cherry type, cv 'Naomi') was compared in a spring-summer cultivation cycle (April-August 2000). The automated structure allowed an adequate climate control in comparison with the plastic tunnels common in the Sele plain. In comparison with soilless systems, on average, soil cultivation resulted in higher yield (+40%) and lower optical residue (-13%) and dry matter (-17%).
