摘要：

The biographies of famous doctors usually and concisely review the places and dates of their deaths without delving into their causes or speaking about possible contributing circumstances. Besides contributing to the history of Medicine, this information may create investigative possibilities that complete the natural history of the disease, unveiling the unknown by expanding what is accredited, specifying the controversies and giving certainty to the uncertain. In an attempt to fill the aforementioned gaps, this record lists a group of outstanding professionals in their medical practice and in Literature, reviews what is known, what is debatable and what is doubtful about their death, and makes a succinct complementary analysis of what has been compiled in this regard.
