Recovery of Eu(III) and Am(III) by solid-phase extraction with diphenyl(dialkylcarbamoylmethyl)phosphine oxides

摘要
Recovery of Eu(III) and Am(III) by solid-phase extraction in systems with diaryl(dialkylcarbamoylmethyl)phosphine oxides (CMPOs) was studied. CMPOs can be can be successfully used for concentration of these elements from nitric acid solutions. The degree of recovery from nitric, hydrochloric, and sulfuric acid solutions increases in the presence of minor amounts of perchloric acid. The Na, K, Ca, Mg, and Al ions in concentrations up to 0.1 M do not interfere with the recovery. The interfering effect of Fe(III) can be eliminated by adding hydroxyethylidenediphosphonic acid.
