摘要
LaNi3.5 alloy was prepared by arc melting method in Ar atmosphere and then annealed at 950 degrees C for 6 h and 24 h in vacuum. It was characterized by XRD, SEM, PCT and in-situ XRD. The results show that other phase besides except Ce2Ni7 phase in the as-prepared. After annealing, the alloy was homogeneous and the content of Ce2Ni7 phase increased. The hydrogen absorption was similar to 0.35 HIM under a hydrogen pressure of 3 MPa at 60 degrees C and no obvious flat plateau was observed in the first hydrogen absorption process. In-situ XRD results show that Ce2Ni7 phase presented obvious anisotropic expansion after hydrogenation.
