摘要
Theories of the subject and subjectivity derive from logic and from philosophy more generally. It would seem that both are present in grammar when the latter focuseson the subject. In semiotics, a science that creates its own grammar from concepts that belong to logic and philosophy, without managing to synthesize them in satisfactory fashion, the question of the subject is always in a phase of conflict: the subject is one of the terms of an actantial, subjectobject relation, in which the relation, not the subject, is the overdetermining origin. There, the subject is also a protagonist, as is the object as well. This equalization of subject and object that prioritizes the actantial function has given rise to the idea that semiotics does not deal with the subject, or that it has an initial object stage and a subsequent subject stage. The provisional result of this discussion is that the subject has diversified in relation to the different actants comprising its guiding function. We will delve into the Greimassian source of the notion of the subject that has given rise to the current problem.
