摘要
Present investigation is focused on statically determinate moment - curvature relationship for bended quaternary reinforced cement concrete beams of size 1800 mm x 100 mm x 200 mm for different grades namely 30 MPa, 50 MPa and 70 MPa containing fly ash, silica fume and lime sludge in different proportions and compared to control mix beams. Results showed, that there was a significant increase in the moment carrying capacity of ternary blended cement concrete compared to that of control mix. Addition of mineral additives have resulted in enhancement of peak stress and strain at peak stress in quaternary blended concrete specimens compared to control mix, due to the presence of overall combination effect of mineral additives. Increase in compressive strength of the concrete resulted in increased strain in concrete and decrease in strain of steel in reinforced concrete beams. The corresponding curvature of blended concrete reinforced beams has shown superior performance, indicating the positive effect of mineral additives.
