摘要
Mandibular distraction in two young cases of facial asymmetry with chin retrusion were reported. Elongation of 12 to 25 mm at the mandibular ramus or angle in the affected side brought their chins to the mid-sagittal and forward direction and their dramatic facial improvement. Mandibular distraction will benefit various types of patients who have uni- or bilateral mandibular hypoplasia.
