摘要
The beam-on time for intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) is increased significantly compared with conventional radiotherapy treatments, Further, the presence of beam modulation devices may potentially affect neutron production, Therefore, neutron measurements were performed for 15 MV photon beams on a Varian Clinac accelerator to determine the impact of IMRT an neutron dose equivalent to the patient.
