摘要：

Duality is a major design feature of language, that is, the limited number of lexical units is used to represent the limitless amount of meanings, which makes it impossible to avoid lexical ambiguity. Human mind has established a nearly perfect disambiguation mechanism, however, there are still many misunderstandings caused by failure of lexical disambiguation. The causes of the lexical disambiguation are analyzed in this paper.
