摘要：

This article intends to highlight some perplexities faced by political institutions either in modern era or in ancient times to safeguard a proper space wherein people might exercise the power of liberty. Beginning with the American revolutionaries, passing through the Greeks and Romans ways to deal with the problem arised, we approach Arendt ' s analysis in order to frame a possible answer of her work for this challenging invitation to thinking.
