摘要：
Possible reasons for a decrease in the content of nitrate nitrogen in the soil upon reduced tillage are considered. It is shown that the main reason may be an increase of weeds in the crop. It is concluded that the transient inhibition of soil nitrogen mineralization is only possible under the effect of minimization of soil tillage in old-arable soils if the input of phytomass to the soil does not decrease.
