摘要：
The structure determination of the title compound, C13H11NO2, establishes the tautomeric keto form of the salicylaldimine. The asymmetric unit consists of two crystallographically independent molecules which are essentially planar and are approximately orthogonal to each other. Strong intramolecular N-H ... O and intermolecular O-H ... O interactions influence the conformation of the molecules and the crystal packing. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds link the molecules in infinite chains.
