Quantum signatures in time-resolved electron-electron collisions?

摘要
We have solved numerically the time-dependent Schrodinger equation for two electron wave packets colliding with each other. The quantum mechanical spatial distribution during the collision process is compared with two theories based on statistical classical mechanics. In the regime in which the kinetic energy is comparable to the interaction energy, electron-electron correlations take their largest value and the collision cannot be described by classical mechanics.
