摘要
Nematophagous fungi, such as Monacrosporium thaumasium (NF34), have a high potential to produce enzymatic pool containing protease with nematicidal activity. Thus, the aim of this study was to optimize the conditions that affect this pool production by the fungus M. thaumasium on solid medium and its nematicidal effect on Meloidogyne javanica eggs. With the optimization assays, there was a significant increase in enzyme production, allowing a 30% reduction in larvae (p < 0.01) in the group treated with the ultrafiltration sample. The test of inhibitors was possible to classify it as a serine protease. This study determined the characteristics that allow the fungus M. thaumasium to produce a high level of protease with destruction effect on M. javanica eggs.
