摘要：
The metabolic sequelae and importance of nutritional support of the patient with severe neurologic injury have received extensive attention. Most of the research of the last 14 years has focused on the nutritional and metabolic management of the patient with head trauma. This article focuses on the metabolic and physiologic consequences of traumatic and ischemic brain injury and the role of nutritional support in their management.
