摘要
Personal dosimeters measure the radiation dose from exposure to hazardous sources outside the body. The present manuscript evaluates the performance of a commercially available optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) Al2O3 dosimeter using diagnostic energy X-rays. The OSL system satisfies the ANSI N13.11-2001 performance criteria for low dose diagnostic energy X-rays. Non-uniformity of sensitivity, dose linearity. X-ray energy response, and angular performance are all within the criteria of IEC-62387-1(2007). (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
