摘要
This text discusses the idea of creativity and creative schools in dialogue with Paulo Freire (1921-1997). The objective was to establish a dialogue involving the theme of creativity and creative schools with concepts and reflections from the Freirian perspective. It is a bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach. Theoretical works of Freire (2001, 2006, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019), Freire and Shor (1986), Freire and Nogueira (2014) were used; and Torre (2012), in which indicators were found that are constituent of creativity and principles linked to concept of creative schools (TORRE, 2012). It appears that the act of learning is a creative activity and that creativity demands freedom, autonomy and opportunity for it to develop. Thus, schools must be spaces of creativity that allow critical awareness in the processes of teaching and learning through dialogue and participatory, democratic and freedom-expressing practices. Learning environment that recognizes the diverse contradictions present in society, in education and at school.
