摘要：

Low voltage induction motor is regarded as a cheap product. Its purchase price balances its operation cost in 2-3 months. Calculation of total (exploitation) cost of induction motors (purchase cost and operation cost) are presented. Cost calculation examples for standard and high efficiency (HE) low voltage motors Poland made ranging 0.75 through 160 kW are given. The calculations show that increased purchase price of HE motors is often compensated after 200-300 working hours.
