摘要
Teaching model of integrated English of English majors is gradually shifting in the direction of diversification in the MOOC era. This paper puts forward teaching theories and characteristics of "MOOC" and analyzes advanced teaching concepts of MOOC with the aim to solve MOOC development and application problems of integrated English of English majors in universities and colleges by following principle of "innovating teachers' teaching concepts and methods as well as improving students' English skills in learning process". Meanwhile, explorations of opportunities and challenges facing MOOC teaching model in English leaning of English majors in universities and colleges can indicate that introduction of MOOC teaching in university English major teaching is operative and effective for inter-college mutual establishment and sharing of MOOC, which can provide some references for further studies of English teaching modes. At last, this paper proposes new ideas of optimizing university English teaching by using teaching advantages of MOOC based on the above advantages and challenges.
