摘要
The paper deals with a model and results of simulation of AC circuit with nonlinear load. The definitions of reactive power of Budeanu, IEEE and proportional to the product of voltage and current time derivative are discussed. Comparison of these definitions was carried out for a simple circuit consisting of inductance and nonlinear load connected in series, powered from a sinusoidal AC source. The analytical solution of the equations of this circuit is considered, taking into account all harmonics. Then a model of this circuit was worked out and a simulation was carried out. On the basis of the waveforms in the steady state, the powers for individual definitions in the time domain and in the frequency domain were determined. The results of calculations in both domains are very similar and consistent with the results of earlier theoretical analysis.
