摘要
Two new eriophyoid mite species, Aculochetus howii sp. nov. on Diospyros howii Merr. et Chun (Ebenaceae) and Diptacus menglunensus sp. nov. on Streblus asper Lour. (Moraceae), were collected during a survey of eriophyoid mites in South China. In addition, Tegonotus streblusi and Diptilomiopus thaianae were recorded from China for the first time. All these species are vagrants on their respective host plant and causes no visible damage.
