摘要
It was tried in this work to prepare bulk of the graphite-dispersed copper composite. The compact which was prepared with pressing the graphite and copper particles mixture was heated in the induction furnace up to 2173 K. In the case that the composite prepared under atmospheric pressure of argon, the composite was porous. The apparent porosity increased from around 10 % to around 50 % with an increase in the initial carbon content. In the case that the composite was heated to around 1500 K in vacuum and heated to the designated temperature under atmospheric pressure of argon, the composite was dense. The apparent porosity increased from around 2 % to around 14 % with an increase in the initial carbon content. The electric resistance was the same as the lower limit of 0.025 and under irrespective of the preparation condition of the composite. The micro- Vickers hardness of the copper matrix of the composite prepared at 2173 K was around 0.5 MPa irrespective of the initial carbon content.
